DAZN Expands U.S. Sports Distribution With Spurs Streaming Deal and EverPass Acquisition
Separate agreements extend DAZN’s reach from local NBA viewers to bars, restaurants and other commercial venues.
DAZN will stream local San Antonio Spurs games beginning in 2026-27 while acquiring EverPass Media to build DAZN for Business. The separate deals expand its reach across household subscriptions, free broadcast television and commercial venues.

DAZN is expanding its U.S. sports-distribution business on two fronts: becoming the San Antonio Spurs’ local direct-to-consumer streaming home and acquiring EverPass Media to serve bars, restaurants and other public venues.
Beginning with the 2026-27 NBA season, DAZN will stream every Spurs regular-season game not reserved exclusively for a national television or streaming partner. The service will also carry preseason games, pregame and postgame coverage, highlights, behind-the-scenes features and original programming. Spurs Sports & Entertainment will continue producing the broadcasts, while DAZN distributes them across its apps, browsers, smart TVs, streaming devices, mobile devices, game consoles and partner platforms.[1]
The Spurs are retaining a free television component: 22 games will air over the air through a local broadcast partner that had not been identified in the September 2 announcement. DAZN’s Spurs plans will cost $19.99 monthly or $119.99 for the season, with season-ticket members receiving 20% off the Season Pass. An Ultimate tier, adding alternate feeds, camera angles and multiview features, will cost $24.99 monthly or $139.99 for the season. DAZN will also distribute selected San Antonio FC and Austin Spurs programming.[1]
The Spurs agreement follows DAZN’s August 26 deal to acquire EverPass Media from the National Football League’s 32 Equity investment arm and other stakeholders. Financial terms were not disclosed. After closing, EverPass will become DAZN for Business, with CEO Alex Kaplan continuing to lead the operation. 32 Equity, RedBird Capital Partners and TKO Group Holdings will become minority DAZN shareholders.[2]
DAZN for Business will serve commercial venues rather than household subscribers. EverPass sells NFL Sunday Ticket and other premium sports packages to businesses, nonprofits and public establishments. Its portfolio also includes commercial programming from leagues and competitions including MLB, NBA, WNBA, the English Premier League, UEFA Champions League, NASCAR, PGA TOUR, MLS and Formula 1. Existing customers are expected to receive uninterrupted service.[2]
For the current NFL season, EverPass and DIRECTV for Business are jointly distributing NFL Sunday Ticket under a limited arrangement. EverPass also brings centralized technology for delivering streaming events across multiple television sets inside a venue.[2]
ConsumerEXP analysis: The separate transactions give DAZN complementary positions in U.S. sports television. The Spurs partnership creates a paid local streaming relationship while preserving limited over-the-air access; EverPass adds commercial rights, venue relationships and screen-management technology for out-of-home audiences. The unnamed Spurs broadcast partner remains the principal distribution uncertainty.
